For the Fall-Winter ‘17 season release, we produced these 80’s/90’s inspired commercials. Bridging ages and genders that are all part of The New Originals world. The concept and direction is in collaboration with Yavez Anthonio, an art director/photographer from Amsterdam.

Our first editorial shot by E.E. in Paris. This season's collection released worldwide at selected retailers, online on the webshop and in the Zeedijk 60 store. 

Various styles of the collection are shot on our Parisian friend Paul. Containing the newly introduced Cloud 9 Jacket, expected to release in the drop two of Fall-Winter '17. 

This year we organized a second edition of our annual SMIB TNO Fest. Hosted by The New Originals and SMIB, September 2 we came together at the newly built Skatepark Amsterdam NOORD. There were photographers, including the talented Texas Schiffmacher.

Born and raised in Amsterdam, Schiffmacher is a rising photography talent best known for her analog shots of dutch youth and her atmospheric photos of the USA.

Here are some of the shots that captured what the fest was all about.

Editorial by Kyle Weeks

Together with Photographer Kyle Weeks, we shot a series of photo’s for our present ‘Filament’ collection. By crossing cultures we wanted to create a studio setting, simulating those of studios in mid-Africa.

Kyle Weeks is a young talented photographer born in Namibia, living in Cape Town, South Africa documenting stories and people on his travels. For this occasion, we collaborated on Spring/Summer 17 editorial. The photos are shot analog with a Mamiya RZ.

Photographer Lucaes Lehman shot the latest SS17 collection on Paris grounds. Editorial is conceptualized by Lucas, shooting a women's serie. The outtake on the collection displays classic Paris streets with strong feminine imagery. 

THE NEW ORIGINALS Paris - Temporary Store

June 23 we opened doors to THE NEW ORIGINALS Paris - Temporary Store. The latest Spring/Summer collection was available in store, together with a fitting area. 

For the opening day, we have collaborated with BEA on a fitting day of the upcoming collection. Inviting creatives from France and abroad to our space. With a so called sefl-development program, we challenge young creatives to interact and dig in their interests and ambitions.

The full collection has been shot by Maxime Cardol & Bart Jansen. Unique faces of Amsterdam are styled and shot in her studio in Bos en Lommer. The editorials context was inspired by the faces of youthful Amsterdam.
